I’m Mackenzie aka Zen Kenz,

My love of yoga was sparked by its harmonious blend of graceful movements, deeply rooted spirituality, and sense of belonging within a like-minded community. It wasn't just about physical exercise; it was a holistic experience that nurtured both body and soul. From a childhood immersed in dance to studying the intricacies of the human body, I appreciate the meaningful importance of the mind-body connection. As an educator specializing in dance, wellness, and special education at the high school level, I integrate the principles of yoga into both my classroom and my personal life. For me, teaching yoga goes beyond the physical postures; it's about fostering peace, confidence, and joy in others. Through mindfulness and self-compassion, I believe we can create a ripple effect of positivity, making the world a better place one mindful breath at a time.

  • Yes! All levels are welcome and no experience is necessary. Many options and modifications will be given to support you through your practice to increase or decrease the intensity and accommodate all bodies.

  • This depends on the space and type of class. Details will be given for each series or class. Typically bring your own mat and anything you’d like to support your practice. If you need anything just let me know. I have lots of extra props I can bring upon request!

  • Classes range from 1 hour to an hour and a half. Check out the details on each offering.

  • Both! Come alone for some solitude or bring a friend to share the experience.
