Our Intention

We hope to provide you with nourishing activities to help relax your body and calm your mind. We aim to invite play, connection and creativity into these offerings to not only bring you a restorative experience but also a joyful one. Check out what will be available and please know, offerings and workshop specifics are subject to change and all activities are optional. No experience or prior knowledge is necessary for any of these experiences. We’d be happy to book a discovery call with you if you’d like to learn more and ensure our retreat is a good fit for you. Here’s what’s included…

  • Yoga, Meditation, Pilates and Breathwork

    You will have opportunities to practice various types of Yoga throughout the weekend, including: Yoga Nidra, Morning Flow, Restorative Yoga and Breathwork. Allow yourself to be guided into deep healing practices rooted in ancient wisdom and backed by modern science. Move, breathe, and be. If you are looking for something a little spicier we will be offering a fun pilates class. Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned yoga and/or pilates goer, these experiences will bring you just what you need.

  • Nourishing Meals

    What is life without food? All meals and snacks throughout the weekend are included. Our experienced chef and friend, Maggie, will be preparing delicious meals for us throughout the weekend. With her passion for flavour and her commitment to wholesome ingredients, Maggie will craft a menu that not only delights the palate but also replenishes the body. If you have dietary requirements, please share them with us and we’ll do our very best to accommodate.

  • Gratitude Gift Bag

    Did someone say presents?! Early on in the weekend open up your special gratitude gift. Inside are all kinds of goodies including some of our favourite homemade and local items.

  • Wellness Workshops

    You will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of workshops. With a wealth of skilled facilitators available, you are sure to find something valuable. The topics cover a wide spectrum, including crafting, cyclical well-being, moon circles, breathwork, exploring nature and much more. More details to come!

  • Cold Plunge and Sauna

    Challenge yourself to a cold plunge and then warm up with the sweet heat of the wood fire sauna. This cold and hot exposure can improve circulation, give you a boost in energy, promote relaxation, flush out toxins and aid in stress relief.

  • Forest Bathing

    Embark on a sensory journey by engaging in mindful practices within the embrace of nature. This experience will guide you to forge a deeper connection with the natural world, facilitating a profound connection with yourself.

  • Intuitive Art

    No Art Experience Required! Join us for some intuitive art fun. Let go of judgment and let your intuition guide you. Reconnect with your inner creativity and unlock your inner wisdom.

  • Somatic Energy Workshops

    Explore various tools and techniques, including mindful movement, breathwork and more that connect you to your soul self. Learn about how to release, express and embody your truest self, living life aligned with your heart’s desires.

The Space

Camp Kawartha is nestled in the heart of the Kawarthas

on the shores of Clear Lake (located at 1010 Birchview Road, Douro-Dummer, ON). Camp Kawartha offers over 186 acres of beautiful land with trails, forests and wetlands, and 800 feet of waterfront. Camp Kawartha is a registered non-profit charitable organization committed to environmental education and stewardship.

By staying at Camp Kawartha, you are helping to support outdoor & environmental education programs for children and youth.

The Accommodations

Accommodations are shared in cozy, heated and rustic cabins. There are bunk beds and single bed options. If you are coming to the retreat with a friend(s) we will ensure you bunk together! There are also cabin upgrades if you wish for a more private sleeping arrangement. The Camp has indoor washroom and shower facilities, with hot and cold running water and flush toilets.

The total price for the weekend in a shared cabin= $544.00 each

Private duo cabin = $594.00 each (limited quantity)

Single cabin = $644.00 (limited quantity)

To officially register you must complete this registration form as well as send your nonrefundable $165 deposit to Camp Kawartha via e-transfer accounting@campkawartha.ca.

Two friends with a lot of heart looking to bring people together for restorative, fun, soul filling experiences. We work hard behind the scenes to ensure you can relax, enjoy and get the most out of your retreat weekend. After all, everyone deserves a break Now & Zen!   • Comfy clothes for lounging and yoga, weather appropriate clothing for outside, hygiene items, bathing suit & towel, thermos or mug, water bottle, journal, slides or flip flops for cold plunge, slippers, cozy blanket.

  • Absolutely! Whether you're a seasoned retreat-goer or it's your very first time, you're more than welcome here! Our retreats are all about inclusivity, collaboration, and creating a warm, inviting atmosphere where everyone feels comfortable and valued. So, don't worry if you're new to this—come as you are, and let's embark on this journey together!

  • Our retreat is designed to be flexible and accommodating to your needs and preferences. While we offer a variety of enriching activities and experiences, participation in any activity is completely optional. You have the freedom to curate your own weekend based on what resonates with you most. Whether you choose to dive into every activity headfirst or simply relax and enjoy the serene surroundings, the choice is entirely yours.

  • Absolutely! We will get this information from you at the time of registration and prepare accordingly to accommodate any restrictions you may have.

  • This retreat is a full weekend commitment. Check out our other day events if that jives better with your life right now!

  • We understand life happens! If you are unable to attend the retreat and provide us with a minimum of 30 days notice we can issue a refund minus your non-refundable deposit. If you need to cancel within 30 days leading up to the retreat we cannot guarantee a refund. You can gift your ticket to someone else and we can try to find a replacement but there is no guarantee of a refund.
